ROLE DESCRIPTION

AGG is adding a skilled SAP Administrator to its team to manage user access, system security, reporting, and SAP environment health. This role will oversee onboarding and offboarding processes, maintain system updates, coordinate changes across environments, and troubleshoot technical issues. The ideal candidate brings strong SAP Basis experience, familiarity with public cloud platforms, and the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Access and security oversight, handling user setup and access within SAP by creating accounts, assigning roles based on responsibilities, and removing access when employees leave. Make sure permissions follow internal security standards and meet audit requirements.
• Reporting support, overseeing SAP reporting processes, from scheduling and monitoring reports to troubleshooting issues with data accuracy or performance. Adjust existing report settings as needed and assist with data exports for business teams.
• Employee transitions, taking care of SAP-related tasks when people join or leave the company. That includes setting up IDs and access for new hires and promptly shutting down accounts when someone exits to keep systems secure.
• System health and upkeep, keeping a close watch on the SAP environment by reviewing logs, background jobs, and performance checks. Apply necessary patches, system updates, and fixes while working with the hosting provider to ensure smooth, secure operations.
• Change and release management, using the SAP Transport Management process to move system updates and configuration changes between environments (like development, test, and production). Ensure all changes are tracked and moved carefully to avoid disrupting operations.
• Problem-solving and end-user help, acting as the go-to person for SAP technical issues.
• Troubleshoot access, performance, or system-related problems and coordinate with cloud support partners when needed to resolve more complex challenges.
• Other duties as requested by leadership

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience as an SAP Administrator or in a similar SAP Basis role.
• Strong knowledge of SAP security models and user role management (PFCG).
• Experience with SAP system monitoring tools and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and an understanding of how SAP operates in these environments.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Understanding of ITIL principles and change management processes.
• Knowledge of SAP system landscapes and transport management.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
