Job Description

Job Summary:

RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAP)

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement applications using
ABAP RAP
(managed and unmanaged scenarios).
Develop and extend
Core Data Services (CDS)
views with annotations.
Build backend logic using
Object-Oriented ABAP (OOABAP)
optimized for SAP HANA.
Create and expose
OData v2/v4 services
for frontend consumption.
Collaborate with functional consultants and
SAP Fiori/UI5
developers for end-to-end integration.
Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to SAP best practices.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across RAP-based developments.
Maintain technical documentation and support deployment activities.

Required Skills:

Strong proficiency in
ABAP RAP
, including managed and unmanaged scenarios.
Deep understanding of
CDS views
, annotations, and metadata extensions.
Experience with
SAP HANA
,
AMDP
, and performance tuning.
Proficient in
OOABAP
and modern ABAP development techniques.
Familiarity with
SAP BTP
,
RESTful APIs
, and service-oriented architecture.
Knowledge of
SAP NetWeaver
,
SQLScript
, and integration concepts.
