Roles & Responsibilities

Core Development

• Develop, enhance, and support SAP ABAP applications including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Forms & Workflows (RICEF/W).
• Build custom objects and enhancements using ABAP on HANA, CDS Views, AMDP, and OData services.
• Optimize ABAP code and SQL queries leveraging SAP HANA capabilities.
  

S/4HANA & Technical Expertise

• Build and maintain CDS Views, BOPF, and OData services for Fiori applications.
• Work on performance tuning for HANA-optimized applications.
• Develop custom Fiori/UI5 applications (basic understanding preferred).
  

Integration & Support

• Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Work on IDocs, BAPIs, BDCs, and Proxy integrations.
• Support SIT/UAT testing and provide timely defect resolutions.
  

Documentation & Standards

• Prepare technical specifications (TSD) and unit test documents.
• Follow SAP development standards, best practices, and quality guidelines.
  

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in SAP ABAP (RICEF objects).
• Expertise in ABAP on HANA, including:
• CDS Views
• AMDP
• SQL Script
• Performance tuning
• Good knowledge of OData, Fiori integration, and RESTful APIs (RAP is a plus).
• Experience working in S/4HANA implementation or support projects.
• Knowledge of IDocs, BAPIs, User Exits, Enhancement Framework, and SmartForms/Adobe Forms.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
  

Good-to-Have Skills

• Exposure to RAP (Restful ABAP Programming Model).
• Basic knowledge of SAP UI5/Fiori development.
• Understanding DevOps tools and transports (CTS+).
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
