SAP ABAP Consultant- Workflow

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement

  SAP Business Workflows

  to automate and streamline business processes.
• Work on

  RICEF

  (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms) with a strong emphasis on integrating these components into workflow solutions to meet business requirements effectively.
• Configure and customize

  workflow tasks, events, and agents

  to ensure proper routing and execution of business processes.
• Develop

  workflow exits and enhancements

  to extend standard workflow functionality and integrate with custom solutions.
• Modify standard layout sets in SAP Scripts, Smart Forms, and Adobe Forms to customize output documents generated within workflow processes according to business needs.
• Utilize

  ABAP Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles

  to develop efficient and scalable solutions for workflow-related custom development.
• Implement

  REST API, API, and RFC (Remote Function Call) integrations

  in SAP applications to facilitate seamless data exchange for workflow triggers and updates with external systems.
• Collaborate on

  user exits and enhancements

  specifically related to workflow integration and functionality.
• Develop custom

  Fiori applications

  that integrate with and enhance SAP Business Workflows, providing intuitive user interfaces for workflow participants.
• Perform

  workflow testing, debugging, and troubleshooting

  to ensure robust and error-free process execution.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an

  SAP ABAP Developer with a focus on SAP Business Workflow

  .
• Strong proficiency in SAP ABAP programming language, including ABAP OOP concepts, specifically applied to workflow development.
• In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with

  SAP Business Workflow development, including task creation, event handling, rule-based agents, and workflow administration

  .
• Experience in customizing standard SAP layouts using SAP Scripts, Smart Forms, and Adobe Forms, particularly for documents generated within workflows.
• Knowledge of SAP Fiori development principles and experience in developing custom Fiori applications that interact with workflows.
• Familiarity with integration techniques such as REST API, API, and RFC for triggering and updating workflows.
• Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into effective and efficient workflow technical solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, especially in complex workflow scenarios.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities, particularly when collaborating with business users and functional consultants on workflow design.
• SAP certification in ABAP or Workflow is a plus.
