Job Description

Position-Sr. Consultant- PP/QM (SAP) Location: Chennai Qualification - 6+ years of experience Job description: • Design and implement procurement planning processes using SAP MM (Materials Management) and SAP SRM (Supplier Relationship Management) modules. • Develop strategies for effective supply chain management, vendor selection, and procurement activities. • Optimize procurement workflows to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. • Implement and configure SAP QM (Quality Management) module to support quality control, quality assurance, and compliance activities. • Develop and monitor quality plans, inspection processes, and corrective actions. • Ensure integration of quality management processes with procurement and production activities. • Gather and analyse client requirements to design effective SAP solutions. • Develop functional specifications, system configurations, and process documentation. • Lead the implementation of SAP solutions, including system setup, customization, testing, and deployment. • Work closely with clients to understand their business needs and provide expert advice on SAP procurement and quality management solutions. • Conduct workshops, training sessions, and presentations for client stakeholders. • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for implemented solutions. • Manage project timelines, deliverables, and resources to ensure successful project execution. • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, and other consultants. • Monitor project progress and report on status, risks, and issues. • Stay updated with the latest developments in SAP technologies and procurement/quality management best practices. • Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend innovative solutions. • Participate in knowledge-sharing activities and contribute to the development of internal knowledge base. Preferred candidates: • Minimum of 6 years of experience in SAP consulting, with a focus on procurement planning and quality management. • Expertise in SAP MM, SRM, and QM modules, including configuration and customization. • Strong understanding of procurement and quality management processes and best practices. • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with clients and team members at all levels. • Project management experience, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. • SAP certification in relevant modules is highly desirable. • Experience with SAP S/4HANA. • Knowledge of integration points with other SAP modules (e.g., SD, PP, FI/CO). • Experience in conducting SAP training and user workshops.
