Salesforce Release Manager

Role Overview: At Astound Digital, you will be working as a Release Manager, coordinating deployments/releases of an inter-dependent set of applications/products. Your role will involve maintaining the process to remove roadblocks and provide increased visibility to all stakeholders about release status and plans. You will be guided by established procedures and agreements with the client, escalating any gaps in processes and proposing improvements as necessary. Key Responsibilities: - Coordinate release planning, design & build activities, including risk mitigation, release activities, and technology planning - Maintain the release schedule for all core services and ensure alignment across all internal and external parties - Participate in Release CAB meetings to discuss release scope and blockages, escalating issues and risks as needed - Assess build readiness for each release and coordinate issue resolution across involved teams - Evaluate release management processes and suggest improvements - Manage release test & quality assurance activities, including configuration management and process assurance - Ensure testing quality meets standards and manage build verification process - Assess and mitigate risks related to technology releases - Confirm that all testing conducted meets deployment requirements with low risk to the release - Coordinate release deployment & support, ensuring readiness, resolving blockers, and conducting reviews - Coordinate early life support and resolution of production issues during the warranty period Qualifications Required: - Strong communication skills - Ability to work independently - Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills, along with troubleshooting abilities - Result-oriented with attention to detail - English Upper Intermediate or higher proficiency - Advanced knowledge of the full SDLC, including Agile - Knowledge of ITIL standards - 1-3 years of previous release management, release coordination, or project management experience - 1-3 years of experience within IT operations, including DevOps Additional Company Details: At Astound Digital, customer experience is paramount.
