Marketing Cloud Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable solutions within Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including automations, customer journeys, data extensions, and dynamic content.
• Write clean, efficient, and reusable code using AMPscript, SSJS (Server-Side JavaScript), HTML, CSS, and SQL for personalization and dynamic content rendering.
• Develop and maintain custom email templates, landing pages, and forms using Marketing Clouds Content Builder and CloudPages.
• Implement API integrations between Salesforce Marketing Cloud and other systems, including Salesforce CRM, data warehouses, or third-party platforms.
• Build and troubleshoot complex automations in Automation Studio and Journey Builder.
• Ensure data integrity and best practices for audience segmentation, personalization, and CAN-SPAM compliance.
• Collaborate with business analysts and campaign managers to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Conduct thorough testing and QA for emails, automations, and journeys to ensure flawless execution.
• Stay updated with Salesforce Marketing Cloud features and industry trends to recommend enhancements.
• Provide technical support and documentation for stakeholders and end users.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Marketing, or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on development experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Engagement, Growth, or Advanced Editions preferred).
• Proficiency in AMPscript, SSJS, HTML, CSS, and SQL for data queries and dynamic content.
• Solid understanding of relational data models, audience segmentation, and marketing automation best practices.
• Experience building and optimizing journeys in Journey Builder and automations in Automation Studio.
• Familiarity with API integration and REST/SOAP web services within Marketing Cloud.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer or Email Specialist certifications are a plus.
