Position Overview

Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC)

Key Responsibilities

SFMC Implementation

  • Lead complete setup, configuration, and deployment of Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Build and manage data extensions, contact models, journeys, and audience segmentation.
  • Configure Email Studio, Mobile Studio (SMS/WhatsApp), Automation Studio, and Journey Builder.
  • Develop personalised, dynamic content using AMPscript and SSJS.
  • Establish data ingestion processes (APIs, SFTP, automations).
  • Ensure platform governance, permissions, roles, and security best practices.

SFMC Service Cloud Integration

  • Design and execute integration between Service Cloud and Marketing Cloud using:
    • Marketing Cloud Connect
    • REST/SOAP APIs
    • Data synchronisation tools
  • Set up synchronised data sources, triggered sends, case and customer event-based journeys.
  • Work closely with CRM and support teams to build cross-cloud use cases (e.g., service notifications, feedback journeys, CSAT workflows).
  • Ensure data accuracy, harmonisation, and real-time sync between platforms.

Solution Architecture & Technical Execution

  • Convert business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Create architecture diagrams, data models, and integration flows.
  • Work on scripting, automations, SQL queries, APIs, and data transformations.
  • Troubleshoot system issues, sync errors, and journey logic problems.

Project Management

  • Lead implementation timelines, deliverables, and documentation.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, Salesforce consultants, and external vendors.
  • Conduct UAT, training sessions, and post-go-live support.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Build performance dashboards, journey reports, and engagement insights.
  • Recommend optimisation strategies for personalisation, customer retention, and service efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on SFMC implementation experience.
  • Strong understanding of Customers.
  • 360, Service Cloud objects (Cases, Contacts, Activities).
  • Expertise in Journey Builder, Automation Studio, SQL, AMPscript, APIs.
  • Experience with Marketing Cloud Connect or custom API integrations.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical configurations.
  • Strong understanding of data modelling, ETL, segmentation, and automation logic.
  • Salesforce certifications preferred:
    • SFMC Email Specialist
    • SFMC Consultant
    • Salesforce Administrator
    • Service Cloud Consultant (optional but desirable)
