Key Responsibilities
- Develop end-to-end Salesforce solutions using Force.com (Apex Classes, Triggers, Visualforce, Lightning Components Aura and Lightning Web Components).
- Build and maintain full-stack applications outside the Salesforce ecosystem, including:
- Front-end components (TypeScript, modern JavaScript).
- Backend services and APIs - Golang or Node.js
- Data models and database-centric solutions (inside and outside Salesforce).
- Build and maintain Salesforce apps hosted on AppExchange using second-generation managed packages (2GP).
- Integrate Salesforce with internal and external systems using REST-based APIs and backend services.
- Build future integration points between Salesforce and custom backend applications.
- Use low-code / no-code iPaaS solutions to integrate platforms such as Salesforce, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Dynamics 365, and other cloud CRMs.
- Take ownership of data modelling, data integrity, and lifecycle management across systems.
- Apply AI-assisted development tools (e.g., copilots, LLMs, automation) to improve productivity, code quality, testing, and documentation.
- Maintain alignment with Salesforce and general software engineering best practices.
- Contribute to architecture discussions, technical decision-making, and continuous
- Testing as a core element of the SDLCimprovement.
- Work closely with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver secure, scalable testable solutions.
Essential
What You Will Bring
- A strong can-do attitude and desire to grow as an engineer.
- 12 years experience developing on the Salesforce platform.
- 12 years experience developing Fullstack applications
- Salesforce Certified Developer (Platform Developer I or II, or Platform App Builder).
- Strong experience with Apex and Lightning Components (Aura and LWC).
- Solid understanding of TypeScript / JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Hands-on experience building and integrating backend services and APIs.
- Experience with data modelling, database concepts, and data ownership.
- Strong experience with web services and platform integrations.
- Good understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms (e.g., OAuth 2.0).
- Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems via callouts and APIs.
- Good working knowledge of SOQL and SOSL.
- Functional knowledge of Salesforce Sales, Service, and Community modules.
- Experience with Salesforce DevOps, version control, and CI/CD (GitHub or Gitlab).
- Experience creating workflows using Salesforce Flow, Process Builder, and Approval Processes.
- Understanding of UX/UI principles and building user-centric interfaces.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Functional knowledge of Agentforce and how it works.
Desirable
- Experience working on managed packages.
- Salesforce Admin certification.
- Experience taking apps through the Salesforce security review process.
- Deeper experience with TypeScript and modern frontend patterns.
- Experience building or maintaining custom backend services outside Salesforce.
- Exposure to AI-assisted development, prompt-driven workflows, or automation tools.
