SALESFORCE DATA CLOUD ARCHITECT/LEAD ANALYST

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end

  architecture, design, and implementation

  of Salesforce Data Cloud
• Define and optimize

  data architecture layers (DLO, DMO, DSO)

  for scalability and cost efficiency
• Establish best practices for

  data ingestion, identity resolution, unification, calculated insights, and activation

• Analyze and optimizecredit consumption

  across ingestion, federation, acceleration, and activation
• Partner with enterprise data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, MDM) to enable

  zero-copy or accelerated data flows

• Define and enforcedata governance, security, lineage, and compliance

  standards
• Oversee integrations with

  Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud

  , and third-party systems
• Act as the

  technical authority and solution advisor

  for all Salesforce Data Cloud initiatives
• Mentor consultants and associates; create

  architectural templates and reusable components

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years

  of experience in data architecture, CDP, or MarTech ecosystems

• 34 years

  of hands-on experience with

  Salesforce Data Cloud (Genie/CDP)

• Strong understanding ofCDP architecture principles

  , identity graphs, consent models, and data federation
• Proven expertise in

  Salesforce Data Cloud credit models

  and cost-optimization strategies
• Experience integrating Salesforce Data Cloud with

  Marketing Cloud

  and enterprise systems using APIs, MuleSoft, or data pipelines
• Ability to translate complex data ecosystems into

  clear, scalable architectural blueprints

• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Good to Have

• Salesforce certifications:

  Data Cloud Consultant, Application Architect, Marketing Cloud Architect

• Experience with other CDPs such asAdobe Experience Platform, Segment, Tealium, Treasure Data

• Knowledge ofmodern data architectures

  (Snowflake, Databricks, Lakehouse, Data Mesh)
• Familiarity with

  data privacy and governance frameworks

  (GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA)
