In the Bangalore team, you will be working along with your digital transformation colleagues who work on DataEngineerin/Science, Data visualization, Digital Product management, Digital Automation, and the Novonesis E-commerce platform. The Salesforce Centre of Excellence has been setup in India to manage the end to end Salesforce implementation lifecycle for all the Salesforce cloud development across the world in Novonesis. Salesforce COE acts as a central governing body for the entire Novonesis. It brings together stakeholders from across the organization to create a single, well-defined group that is responsible for making decisions when it comes to Salesforce. In this role you’ll make an impact by:

We are seeking a Salesforce Architect with extensive experience in creating and delivering CRMs and workflow solutions using Salesforce/Apex, Force, Visualforce, and J2EE technologies. The candidate will be accountable for designing, developing, and supporting Salesforce-related projects, demonstrating progressive leadership throughout the software development life cycle. Responsibilities include detailed design of Salesforce projects from inception to production support, ensuring that the system aligns with business unit expectations, implementing proper testing, and closely monitoring performance requirements in collaboration with development teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Solution Design and Architecture:

  • Designing scalable and efficient Salesforce architecture to meet business requirements.

  • Developing data models, workflows, and custom functionalities.

  • Ensuring adherence to Salesforce best practices.

• Implementation and Integration:

  • Leading complex Salesforce implementations and integrations.

  • Integrating Salesforce with other systems (ERP, marketing automation, etc.).

  • Designing and implementing end-to-end solutions.

• Collaboration and Leadership:

  • Working with stakeholders to align solutions with business goals.

  • Providing technical leadership and guidance to development teams.

  • Mentoring and coaching junior team members.

• Technical Expertise:

  • Using Salesforce development tools (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components).

  • Optimizing system performance and data security.

  • Ensuring security and compliance with data privacy laws and industry standards.

• Other Responsibilities:

  • Developing and enforcing best practices for Salesforce development and governance.

  • Providing design recommendations and risk assessments.

  • Managing user roles and security.

  • Documenting system architecture and workflows.

Required skills and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• A minimum of 8 years of experience on the Salesforce/Force.com platform, with proven experience in solution design and architecture.

• Strong practical knowledge of Salesforce configurations, Apex classes, Apex Web services, and APIs.

• Strong understanding of CRM processes within Sales, Marketing, and Service environments

• Experience with third-party integration tools, ETL, and Salesforce integrations.

• Advanced technical degree, with a minimum of 12 years in progressively responsible technical roles.

• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.

• Salesforce Architect certifications (e.g., Certified Technical Architect, Application Architect) are a plus

• Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with a talent for mentoring junior team members.

Academic qualifications and Experience
The candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in computer science or software engineering or 8-10 years of Salesforce

Multi-level Salesforce or technology certifications is desired.

An effective communicator with fluency in English
