Description
As a Sales Trainer, your role involves designing, developing, and delivering training programs for our sales teams. This includes creating new hire training, product knowledge training, and skills-based training. You will deliver these programs in various formats such as classroom settings, virtually, or through on-the-job coaching. Additionally, you will analyze sales performance data to identify training needs and opportunities for improvement. Your responsibilities will include conducting skills gap analyses, designing training curriculum within time and budget constraints, creating and curating training materials, and inducting new salespeople into the process. You will also coordinate individual and team performance review sessions, monitor sales objectives, and drive conversions. Furthermore, you will coach team members on handling rebuttals effectively, observe sales encounters, collect feedback, results, and performance data of trainees, and report on the impact of training programs. To be successful in this role, you should have proven work experience as a Sales Trainer or a similar role, as well as experience in a sales position within a similar domain. You should be able to manage the full training cycle, possess excellent organizational skills, communication, and presentation abilities, and have the capability to measure performance and build and develop teams. Ideally, you should have at least 3 years of experience as a sales coach, training specialist, or in a similar position. Possession of certifications in training would be advantageous, along with excellent knowledge of sales techniques and customer service best practices.
