Job Description

You will be responsible for the Medium Voltage product/systems business offer proposal & Acquisition in Exports Business. This will involve coordination with Sales/PLM/HQ/ICB/ITPL (Internal/External) partners in allocated export territories. You will review Customer requirements/specifications and Qualification documents. Your tasks will include conducting preliminary engineering, estimation of Bill of quantity, sending vendor enquiry, carrying out negotiations, and preparing bid calculations. Additionally, you will create Damex-E, CF, Internal LOA documentation, and various other documents as applicable. You will attend customer meetings offline or online for technical and commercial discussions as required, aiming to arrive at mutual understanding with the customer on the technical proposal. Furthermore, you will be responsible for making Project Winning Strategy and Competitive Bids to win orders from the market. Your role will also involve ensuring meeting monthly/yearly order Intake targets of Exports segment as forecasted. Qualifications and Experience required for this position: - B.Tech / B.E in Electrical Engineering - Minimum 4-5 years of industry experience preferable in tendering or proposal with exposure to interaction with customers/sales - Experience in proposal for MV products - Knowledge of tendering/bid Qualification process - Knowledge of competitor products and Export market (Preferred) - Good communication skills (Verbal/written), Self-driven - Knowledge of MV products (AIS & GIS products/technologies, RMU, Outdoor VCBs) - Knowledge of Protection schemes & requirements, Numerical relays/Substation Products, and Siemens In-house products (Preferred) - Preliminary knowledge of Substation Engineering & Power system - Command over MS office, outlook, MS Teams, other computer applications - Team player having a collaborative approach Siemens is a collection of over 379,000 minds building the future, one day at a time in over 200 countries.
