Sales Representative

As a Sales Representative in our company, your primary responsibility will be to achieve sales targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis within the assigned area. You will be required to monitor sales performance closely and take necessary corrective actions to ensure targets are met in a timely manner. Market development is a key aspect of this role where you will need to identify new sales opportunities and develop effective strategies to penetrate new markets. Conducting thorough market research to understand customer needs, preferences, and trends in the FMCG sector will be crucial. Additionally, expanding the customer base by adding new distributors and retailers will be part of your responsibilities. Account management will be another integral part of your role where you will be expected to build and maintain strong relationships with existing distributors, retailers, and other stakeholders. Negotiating and managing contracts to ensure favorable terms and conditions for the company will also fall under your purview. Providing excellent customer service and promptly addressing any issues or concerns will be essential in this role. You will be responsible for the implementation of sales strategies, executing sales and marketing plans to promote the company's products effectively. Ensuring proper product placement, visibility, and alignment with promotional activities as per company guidelines will be crucial. Collaboration with the marketing team to implement promotional activities and campaigns will also be required. Reporting and analysis are significant aspects of this role where you will prepare and submit regular sales reports including forecasts, market analysis, and competitor analysis. Monitoring inventory levels and coordinating with the supply chain team to ensure product availability will be part of your duties. Analyzing sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement will also be necessary. Training and development are essential components of this role where you will train and mentor sales representatives or junior staff within the assigned area. It is imperative that you stay updated with industry trends and best practices in sales and marketing to enhance your skills and knowledge.
