Sales Officer

Job Summary: The Oil Procurement and Sales Officer is responsible for sourcing petroleum products, negotiating with suppliers, managing procurement contracts, and developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the oil and gas market, strong analytical and negotiation skills, and a track record in both procurement and B2B sales. Key Responsibilities: Procurement Responsibilities: Source and negotiate procurement of crude oil and refined petroleum products (e.g., diesel, petrol, lubricants). Build and maintain relationships with local and international suppliers. Monitor market trends, pricing, and supply chain logistics. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal procurement policies. Coordinate import and export activities, including shipping, customs clearance, and logistics. Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation. Sales Responsibilities: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets. Identify and secure new customers (e.g., industrial clients, distributors, resellers). Manage key accounts and maintain strong client relationships. Prepare and present sales proposals, contracts, and pricing structures. Conduct market research to identify business opportunities and customer needs. Collaborate with the finance team for invoicing and payment follow-ups. Key Requirements: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Petroleum Engineering, or related field. 0-5 years of experience in oil procurement and/or sales within the energy any sector. Strong knowledge of petroleum market dynamics, trading regulations, and logistics. Proven negotiation and contract management skills. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
