Job Description

Sales Officer / Sales Executive

Key Responsibilities:

Retail Sales:

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets set for the assigned region.
  • Promote and sell the company's products to customers through various retail channels.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with retail clients to drive repeat business.
  • Monitor market trends and competitors to identify opportunities for sales growth.

Dealer & Distributor Handling:

  • Build and maintain relationships with existing dealers and distributors.
  • Regularly visit dealers to provide product updates, support, and ensure consistent stock availability.
  • Train and guide dealers/distributors on product features, sales techniques, and promotional activities.
  • Address and resolve issues that may arise between the company and its dealers/distributors.

New Dealer Opening:

  • Identify and approach potential dealers for new business opportunities.
  • Conduct market research to locate suitable locations for new dealerships.
  • Oversee the process of opening new dealerships, including site selection, product training, and initial stock setup.
  • Ensure smooth onboarding and provide ongoing support to new dealers.

Handling Queries:

  • Address and resolve customer queries or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Provide product information, sales support, and after-sales assistance to customers, dealers, and distributors.
  • Ensure that all customer queries are resolved to their satisfaction, enhancing the overall customer experience.

Reporting and Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales, dealer interactions, and customer queries.
  • Submit regular reports to senior management on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities.
  • Ensure compliance with all internal sales processes and documentation requirements.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in retail, distribution, or a similar industry.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong business relationships.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Self-motivated with a results-oriented approach.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and manage time effectively.
  • A customer-centric mindset with a focus on problem-solving and satisfaction.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in sales or a similar role.
