Sales Officer (Retail Jewellery Sales)

The Sales Officer – Retail Jewellery is responsible for delivering excellent customer service, driving sales, and maintaining high standards of visual merchandising. The role involves assisting customers in selecting jewellery, sharing product knowledge, and contributing to the store’s overall performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Service & Sales

• Greet and engage with customers to understand their needs and preferences.
• Present and demonstrate jewellery pieces effectively, highlighting product features, quality, and craftsmanship.
• Achieve individual and store sales targets through effective up-selling and cross-selling techniques.
• Handle customer queries and concerns with professionalism and prompt resolution.

• Product Knowledge

• Maintain in-depth knowledge of the jewellery collections, precious stones, metals, certifications, and current trends.
• Educate customers on product care, authenticity, and warranty policies.

• Visual Merchandising

• Ensure attractive and organized displays that align with brand guidelines.
• Assist in restocking and maintaining proper inventory levels on the shop floor.

• Operational Support

• Assist in inventory management, including stock receipt, tagging, and audits.
• Process sales using POS systems, handle billing, and ensure accurate cash/card transactions.
• Adhere to store policies regarding security, cleanliness, and hygiene.

• Team Collaboration

• Work as part of a dynamic sales team to achieve overall store goals.
• Participate in daily briefings, training sessions, and promotional activities.
