Sales Officer

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Target Achievement:

Achieve and exceed primary and secondary sales targets for assigned products and territories.

Develop and execute sales plans and strategies to maximize sales volume and market share.

Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base.

Client Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing and new clients (retailers, wholesalers, distributors).

Conduct regular visits to outlets to understand their needs, provide support, and ensure customer satisfaction.

Address customer inquiries, complaints, and service-related issues promptly and effectively.

Merchandising and Product Visibility:

Ensure proper merchandising, display, and visibility of products in retail stores according to company standards.

Monitor and manage product availability, freshness, and shelf presence in assigned outlets.

Implement promotional activities and special deals to drive sales.

Market Analysis and Reporting:

Conduct regular market analysis to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences.

Monitor and report on competitor pricing, promotions, and new product launches.

Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and market feedback for senior management.

Order Management and Logistics Coordination:

Collect and accurately record orders from retail outlets and ensure timely order processing.

Coordinate closely with the logistics and supply chain teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products.

Manage inventory levels at the distributor and retail end to prevent stock-outs or overstocking.

Payment Collection:

Ensure timely collection of payments from distributors as per agreed terms.

Reconcile accounts and resolve any payment discrepancies.

Product Knowledge and Training:

Develop in-depth knowledge of all company products, features, benefits, and unique selling propositions.
