Job Description

You will be responsible for supporting sales and business development activities by identifying potential customers, promoting the company's industrial valves and solutions, and assisting the sales team in achieving revenue and growth targets. Your key responsibilities will include: - Identifying and approaching potential clients in industries such as oil & gas, water treatment, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and manufacturing. - Assisting in generating leads, making introductory calls, and scheduling client meetings. - Understanding customer requirements and providing appropriate product information and technical details (training will be provided). - Supporting the preparation of quotations, proposals, and tender documentation. - Maintaining and updating the customer database and sales records. - Coordinating with internal teams (production, stores, logistics) for timely order execution and dispatch. - Collecting market intelligence on competitors, pricing, and new opportunities. - Providing after-sales support and assisting in resolving basic customer queries. Key Skills & Competencies required for this role include: - Good communication and interpersonal skills. - Eagerness to learn about industrial products and sales processes. - Basic understanding of science or engineering concepts (training provided). - Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). - Ability to travel for client visits when required. Qualifications: - Education: B.Sc. (Science) in Physics, Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, or equivalent. - Freshers or up to 1 year of experience in sales or technical support preferred. In this role, you will be evaluated based on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as: - Number of leads generated and qualified. - Support in achieving monthly/quarterly sales targets. - Customer satisfaction and feedback. - Timely reporting and documentation. Growth Opportunities: - Opportunity to progress to Sales Executive/Business Development Executive roles based on performance. - Training in product knowledge, industrial sales techniques, and client relationship management will be provided.
