Sales Officer - Hygiene Products (North India Multi States)

1. Job Purpose

2. Key ResponsibilitiesA. Sales & Target Achievement

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets across assigned states.
  • Drive product sales for sanitary napkins, baby diapers, adult diapers, wet wipes, and tissue products.
  • Identify new markets, distribution gaps, and sales opportunities.

B. Distributor & Retail Management

  • Appoint new distributors and maintain strong relationships with existing distributors.
  • Ensure proper stock management, product availability, and secondary sales.
  • Conduct regular distributor reviews and support in market expansion.

C. Market Visits & Business Development

  • Visit key markets across states as per travel plan.
  • Meet retailers, wholesalers, and medical/general trade partners to increase product visibility.
  • Conduct product demos, training sessions, and promotional activities.

D. Multi-State Sales Coordination

  • Manage sales operations across multiple states independently.
  • Coordinate with local distributors, sales executives, and stockists in each region.
  • Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and consumer trends state-wise.

E. Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain sales reports, market insights, and visit summaries.
  • Submit weekly and monthly sales MIS.
  • Ensure timely order collection and payment follow-up.

F. Trade Marketing & Promotions

  • Execute promotional schemes, retailer programs, and product launches.
  • Support marketing team in running hygiene awareness campaigns.

G. Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Coordinate with Production, Dispatch, Accounts, and Marketing teams for smooth operations.
  • Provide demand forecasts for each state to ensure uninterrupted supply.

3. Skills & Competencies

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Experience in FMCG / Hygiene / Personal Care sales.
  • Ability to manage multi-state operations efficiently.
  • Knowledge of distributor handling, retail channels, and general trade.
  • Good analytical skills and MS Excel/Report preparation ability.
  • Willingness to travel extensively
