Key Responsibilities New Customer Acquisition: Focus on sourcing new customers, particularly for Current Account and Savings Accounts (CASA).  Lead Generation: Generate leads for various products, including credit cards, fixed deposits, and insurance, through cold calls, customer referrals, and market outreach.  Sales Target Achievement: Meet defined productivity norms and business targets, ensuring penetration of products into the market.  Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and provide suitable product recommendations.  Cross-selling & Upselling: Proactively identify opportunities to cross-sell other banking and insurance products to existing and new customers.  Product Knowledge: Maintain thorough knowledge of all HDFC banking products, insurance offerings, and competitor products to effectively address customer queries.  Compliance: Adhere strictly to banking regulations, KYC norms, and compliance standards.  Market Feedback: Provide feedback to supervisors on market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activities.  Key Skills & Qualifications Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills for effective customer interaction and relationship building.  Sales Acumen: Ability to identify needs, pitch products effectively, and close sales.  Customer Service Orientation: A commitment to delivering quality customer service.  Hard Work & Mobility: Willingness to travel and work in the field, including a valid driver's license for a two-wheeler.  Education: Typically a graduate degree and above.  Work Environment Field Work: A significant portion of the role involves working outside the branch to meet customers.  Team Collaboration: Working closely with branch staff, including Home Loan Executives (HLEs) for joint efforts.  Product Focus: Depending on the specialization, the role could focus on home loans, credit cards, insurance, or general banking products.
