About the Role:

Sales Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage outside sales activities across Chennai and other regions as required
  
• Identify and aggressively pursue new business opportunities and key accounts
  
• Promote chemical raw materials used in food packaging, with a strong understanding of their technical and functional advantages
  
• Develop sales strategies and action plans to meet sales targets
  
• Build, mentor, and train the sales team for sustained performance and growth
  
• Foster long-term relationships with customers and ensure high standards of customer service
  
• Collaborate with internal teams and report to senior management on sales progress
  
• Educate customers on US-based machine technologies integrated with our product solutions
  
• Represent the company in industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings
  
• Regular travel for business development and customer engagement
  

Requirements:

• 8–15 years of proven experience in

  chemical raw material sales

  , preferably in

  packaging, food safety, or industrial chemicals

• Experience in selling to B2B clients, distributors, or large manufacturers
  
• Strong knowledge of

  food-grade packaging materials

  and related chemical compositions
• Must be a

  self-starter

  , proactive, and target-driven with a strong ability to close deals
• Proven ability to

  build and manage a sales team

  and conduct product training sessions
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
  
• Comfortable with frequent

  travel

  and field visits
• Fluency in

  Tamil and English

  is mandatory;

  Hindi

  is highly preferred
• Familiarity with

  customer service protocols

  and technical sales related to

  US-based machine technologies

  is a plus

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in

  Chemistry, Packaging Technology, or a related field

• MBA or PGDM in Sales/Marketing is an added advantage
