Role Overview

hands-on Sales Executive

  • Start selling Suarin’s custom scented candles
  • Open doors with

    gift shops, home décor stores, boutiques, event planners, and corporate buyers

  • Build repeat customers and a strong early brand presence for Suarin

  • Grow into a Sales Manager

    and help hire & train additional sales reps as we expand

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate leads through local networks, field visits, events, phone calls, WhatsApp, and social media
  • Pitch Suarin’s products to

    retailers, resellers, event planners, and end customers

  • Handle the full sales cycle: lead → meeting/demo → follow-up → close → repeat orders

  • Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets

  • Maintain simple, accurate records of leads, visits, and conversions (Excel / Google Sheets / basic CRM)

  • Collect feedback on fragrances, packaging, pricing, and share insights with the founder

  • Support branding and promotion activities (pop-ups, stalls, exhibitions, festive campaigns)

  • Over time, help recruit, onboard, and coach junior sales reps

    as the team grows

Who You Are

  • 1–4 years of experience in

    field sales/direct sales/channel sales

  • Experience in FMCG, home & lifestyle, gifting, décor, or other consumer products

    is a strong plus
  • Strong communication skills in

    Tamil

    and basic

    English

  • Comfortable with field work, meeting new people, and building long-term relationships

  • Target-driven, self-motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision

  • Basic smartphone and Excel / Google Sheets

    skills
  • Honest, reliable, and excited by the idea of growing from

    founding sales rep to Sales Manager

    in the next 1–2 years

Compensation

Fixed salary (first 6 months): ₹18,000 per month

Mid-year salary review (after 6 months): Fixed salary increased to ₹20,000 per month (in hand)

Sales commission (base + commission model):

  • Monthly commission on billed sales, with a higher percentage for exceeding targets

  • Realistic earning potential of

    ₹4,000–₹6,000+ per month in commission

    for hitting and exceeding targets

Allowances: Travel and mobile reimbursement/allowance as per company policy
