Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Business Development

Identify and onboard educational institutions requiring funding for infrastructure, expansion, working capital, or modernization.
Generate leads through direct sales, networking, associations, and channel partners.
Achieve assigned sales and revenue targets.

Client Relationship Management

Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with promoters, trustees, and decision-makers of institutions.
Understand client requirements and design appropriate funding structures.
Provide after-sales service and ensure client satisfaction.

Credit & Risk Coordination

Work with credit and risk teams to prepare proposals, financial assessments, and due diligence reports.
Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory norms.

Market & Competitor Analysis

Track market trends in education sector financing.
Provide inputs on product improvements and competitive positioning.

Collections & Portfolio Management

Monitor portfolio health and ensure timely repayment by clients.
Support collection team in managing delinquency and minimizing NPAs.

Preferred candidate profile

Graduate / Postgraduate in Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
37 years
of experience in institutional finance, education funding, or SME lending.
Proven track record in sales and business development.

Key Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of
institutional funding / SME lending / infrastructure financing
.
Understanding of financial statements and credit assessment.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Ability to build trust and maintain long-term business relationships.
Target-oriented, self-motivated, and result-driven.
