Job Description

You are a highly motivated Sales Manager who will be responsible for leading sales and business development activities in the specialty chemicals sector, focusing on Phenol, Resorcinol, and related downstream derivatives. Your role will require a robust background in chemical manufacturing and specialty chemicals, along with demonstrated expertise in customer acquisition and relationship management across both domestic and international markets. Your key responsibilities will include: - Driving sales growth of Phenol, Resorcinol, and related chemistries. - Identifying new business opportunities within industries such as pharma, agrochemicals, adhesives, rubber chemicals, and specialty applications. - Achieving defined sales targets, revenue, and profitability goals. You will also be responsible for engaging with customers and key accounts by: - Developing and maintaining relationships with key customers globally. - Understanding customer requirements and offering technical-commercial solutions. - Negotiating contracts, pricing, and long-term supply agreements. Additionally, you will need to focus on market intelligence and strategy by: - Monitoring market trends, competitor activities, and pricing movements in Phenol and Resorcinol markets. - Providing valuable inputs to senior management for product positioning and business planning. - Collaborating with R&D, Production, and Supply Chain teams for customized solutions and timely deliveries. Your operational and reporting duties will include: - Ensuring timely order execution, credit control, and receivable collections. - Preparing regular MIS reports, sales forecasts, and performance reports. - Representing the company in industry events, trade fairs, and exhibitions. Qualifications & Experience required for this role: - Bachelors/Masters in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline; MBA preferred. - 5-10 years of experience in sales/business development of specialty chemicals or KSMs. - Strong knowledge of Phenol & Resorcinol chemistry and their applications. - Proven track record in achieving sales targets and growing key accounts. - Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
