Sales Manager

An Area Sales Manager for a brand like Mumtree is responsible for overseeing sales operations, managing a team of sales representatives, and driving sales within a specific geographical area. Here’s a general job description:

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute sales strategies to meet sales targets.
• Manage and lead a team of Field Sales Representatives.
• Conduct sales territory analyses and close sales deals.
• Deliver presentations to potential and existing customers.
• Collect customer feedback and provide updates to senior management.
• Develop and sustain long-term relationships with customers.
• Implement a sales management process to assist the sales team in identifying and prioritizing key customers and prospects.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business management, or related field is preferred.
• Proven sales experience; preferably in Education or Kids domain would be added advantage
• Effective written & oral communication skills in English language

• Proficient in Digital marketing & Social Media marketing for lead generation and follow-up
• Excellent management, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Outstanding negotiation and consultative sales skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills

Additional Requirements:

• Should posses own vehicle to commute to client place for visit in nearby areas of Haridwar
• Willing to travel for 3-4 days in a week outside of haridwar region depending on need
• Ability to understand Mumtree products and domain in short period of time

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From ₹9,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Haridwar, Uttarakhand: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Preferred)

Experience:

• Direct sales: 2 years (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:

• 50% (Preferred)
