An Area Sales Executive for a brand like Mumtree is responsible for overseeing sales operations, managing a team of sales representatives, and driving sales within a specific geographical area. Here’s a general job description: Responsibilities: Develop and execute sales strategies to meet sales targets. Manage and lead a team of Field Sales Representatives. Conduct sales territory analyses and close sales deals. Deliver presentations to potential and existing customers. Collect customer feedback and provide updates to senior management. Develop and sustain long-term relationships with customers. Implement a sales management process to assist the sales team in identifying and prioritizing key customers and prospects. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business management, or related field is preferred. Proven sales experience; preferably in Education or Kids domain would be added advantage Effective written & oral communication skills in English language Proficient in Digital marketing & Social Media marketing for lead generation and follow-up Excellent management, leadership, and organizational skills.
