Job Summary

Sales Manager with strong ESG sales experience

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end sales efforts for EcoRatings sustainability and ESG solutions.
• Identify, qualify, and convert enterprise prospects within targeted sectors.
• Develop sales strategies and pipelines aligned with company goals.
• Conduct product demos, present ESG value propositions, and handle client objections effectively.
• Work closely with internal teams (Lead Generation) to deliver customized solutions.
• Manage CRM pipelines, forecast revenue, and track KPIs with accuracy.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and identify upselling/cross-selling opportunities.
• Stay updated on ESG regulations, sustainability frameworks (ESG, GRI, BRSR, CDP, CSRD), and market trends.
• Represent EcoRatings at conferences, client meetings, and industry events.
• Prepare proposals, commercial quotes, and negotiation documents.

Mandatory Requirements

• 78 years of total sales experience

  , including

  minimum 4+ years in ESG, sustainability, climate-tech, or impact-driven SaaS sales

• Proven track record of closing enterprise or mid-market deals.
• Strong understanding of ESG frameworks, sustainability reporting, and supply-chain compliance.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work onsite and travel for client meetings when required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience selling SaaS or data-driven solutions.
• Network within sustainability, compliance, or procurement domains.
• MBA or Bachelor's degree in Business, Sustainability, or related fields.
