Job Description

Job Purpose

To lead a team of sales professionals in driving Personal Loan cross-sell business from the existing customer base. The Sales Manager will be responsible for achieving disbursement targets, improving conversion ratios, maintaining portfolio quality, and ensuring a superior customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

Achieve monthly and quarterly targets for Personal Loan (PL) cross-sell through the existing customer portfolio.

Drive lead generation and conversion using internal data, campaigns, and customer profiling.

Ensure effective follow-up and closure of leads within defined turnaround times.

Monitor productivity metrics such as lead-to-login and login-to-disbursement ratios.

Team Management

Lead and manage a team of Sales Officers / BDOs.

Allocate targets, monitor performance, and ensure achievement of individual and team goals.

Provide daily guidance, training, and motivation to improve sales effectiveness.

Conduct regular performance reviews and implement action plans for improvement.

Process & Compliance

Ensure adherence to all company policies, product guidelines, and regulatory requirements.

Coordinate with Credit, Operations, and Risk teams for smooth processing and disbursement.

Maintain process discipline, accuracy in documentation, and ensure zero audit observations.

Customer Relationship & Portfolio Quality

Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers for repeat and referral business.

Ensure high customer satisfaction by providing transparent and timely service.

Maintain a healthy loan portfolio by ensuring quality sourcing and monitoring of early delinquency.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Achievement of disbursement and revenue targets.

Team productivity and lead conversion ratio.

Cross-sell penetration within the existing customer base.

Customer satisfaction and retention rate.

Qualifications & Experience

Education: Graduate / Postgraduate (MBA preferred).

Experience: Minimum 3+ years of team handling experience.

Industry Preference: Banking, NBFC, or Fintech sector (Personal Loans - Cross-sell).

Skills & Competencies

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Excellent knowledge of Personal Loan products, eligibility, and documentation.

Good communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Target-driven and result-oriented with strong analytical ability.

Customer-centric mindset and high sense of ownership.
