Job Title: Sales Manager FMCG (Cosmetics & Personal Care)

Location: Kerala

Department: Sales & Business Development

Experience Required: 38 years in FMCG (Cosmetics, Personal Care, or Beauty Segment)

About the Role

We are looking for a Sales Manager based in Kerala to lead business development and channel expansion for our growing portfolio of cosmetics and personal care brands. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in FMCG companies within the beauty, skincare, or haircare category, along with a strong network of distributors, retailers, and modern trade partners across Kerala.

This role demands a proactive, target-driven professional who can drive both General Trade (GT) and Modern Trade (MT) channels, ensuring consistent product visibility and market growth.

Key Responsibilities-

  • Develop and execute sales strategies for achieving monthly and annual sales targets.

  • Identify, appoint, and manage distributors and stockists across key cities in Kerala.

  • Strengthen relationships with retailers, beauty stores, and regional chains.

  • Drive product placement and in-store visibility across GT and MT outlets.

  • Manage distributor performance, stock availability, and payment collections.

  • Implement promotional and trade marketing activities in coordination with the marketing team.

  • Monitor competitor activity, pricing, and market dynamics.

  • Conduct regular market visits to ensure brand presence and effective merchandising.

  • Prepare and present monthly performance reports and market feedback to management.

Desired Candidate Profile

Graduate in Business, Marketing, or any related field (MBA preferred).

  • 58 years of FMCG sales experience, with at least 2 years in cosmetics or personal care.

  • Strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and stockists in Kerala.

  • Experience handling beauty, skincare, or grooming brands is a strong advantage.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.

  • Self-motivated, disciplined, and capable of working independently.

  • Fluency in English and Malayalam is preferred.

  • Must be willing to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
