As a Sales Manager Components at Hitachi Energy in Halol, India, you will be part of the Transformers Business team that is dedicated to leveraging innovative technology to transform energy and create social, environmental, and economic value. Your role will involve driving the I&C Components Sales and Marketing activities for both India Supply Factories and Import Factories within your area of responsibility. You will provide customer feedback and strategic marketing inputs to support market analysis validation and competitive landscape assessment. It is essential to follow a structured market plan that combines technical information gathered from customers with a strategic overview mindset. To excel in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in engineering, while a Master's degree in business, marketing, or engineering would be advantageous. A minimum of 5 years of experience in technical departments such as R&D, Electrical Engineering, Design, Project Management, Product Marketing, Sales, or Business Development in the assigned sector(s) related to transformer businesses is required. Leadership competencies in Sales & Marketing and technical skills are essential for driving value-based selling and profitable growth in India. Ideal candidates will possess intercultural sensitivity, excellent oral and written communication skills, and proficiency in both spoken and written English. The role may require up to 30% travel.
