Job Description

developing sales strategies, leading and motivating a sales team, identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, and analyzing sales data to achieve revenue goals

  • Sales Strategy & Execution:

    Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets for the agency.
  • Team Leadership:

    Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales representatives to maximize their performance and productivity.
  • Client Relationship Management:

    Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with existing and potential clients, ensuring high customer satisfaction and identifying upsell opportunities.
  • New Business Development:

    Identify and pursue new business opportunities, conducts market research to understand industry trends, and approaches prospects to determine needs.
  • Negotiation:

    Negotiate advertising contracts, pricing, and agreements with clients.
  • Reporting & Analysis:

    Monitor sales performance, analyze sales data and metrics, and prepare regular reports and forecasts for management.
  • Collaboration:

    Collaborate with marketing, creative, and other internal teams to align objectives and develop effective promotional campaigns.
  • Training & Development:

    Provide training and coaching to sales staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Qualifications

  • Education:

    Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience:

    Proven experience in advertising sales with a strong track record of success, ideally with at least 3-5 years in the field.
  • Leadership:

    Previous experience in a leadership or management role is essential.
  • Skills:

    • Leadership & Communication:

      Strong leadership, verbal, and written communication skills.
    • Negotiation:

      Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills.
    • Digital Marketing:

      Strong understanding of digital advertising platforms and current trends.
    • Technical Proficiency:

      Proficiency in CRM software (such as Salesforce) and sales analytics tools.
    • Analytical & Strategic:

      Ability to analyze market data, develop strategic plans, and solve problems creatively.
    • Organizational:

      Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Networking:

      A strong network within the advertising industry is a significant asset.
    • Need to approach brand and onboarding them.
