Develop and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue and profitability
goals in the logistics and freight forwarding industry. Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, andcold calling. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, suppliers, and partners to ensurelong-term business success. Negotiate and close contracts with clients, ensuring favorable terms and conditions forthe company. Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the sales team, setting performance targetsand conducting regular performance reviews. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to stay ahead ofindustry developments and adjust sales strategies accordingly. Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and reports to senior management. Collaborate closely with internal departments, including operations, customer service,and finance, to ensure smooth execution of customer orders and services. Track and analyze sales metrics, providing regular reports on sales performance andforecasting. Manage and optimize the sales pipeline, ensuring timely follow-up and closure of leadsand opportunities. Attend industry conferences, events, and trade shows to represent the company andgenerate new business leads.
