Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Sales Planning & Target Achievement
Set daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets for the sales team.
Monitor individual and team performance.
Ensure sales targets are achieved for vehicles, finance, insurance, and accessories.
2. Team Management
Supervise, guide, and motivate sales executives and team leaders.
Conduct daily morning meetings to review targets and performance.
Assign leads and walk-in customers to appropriate team members.
3. Customer Handling & Conversion
Oversee the handling of walk-in, online, and telephonic enquiries.
Intervene in high-value or difficult customer negotiations to close deals.
Ensure test rides and product demonstrations are handled professionally.
4. Follow-up & Lead Management
Review the status of enquiries, hot prospects, and lost leads.
Ensure timely follow-up by the team through calls and visits.
Maintain proper records in DMS or lead management software.
5. Reporting & Documentation
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
Track team performance metrics like enquiry-to-sale ratio, booking-to-retail ratio, etc.
Submit reports to the General Manager or Dealer Principal.
6. Coordination with Other Departments
Coordinate with the PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection), insurance, accounts, and delivery team for smooth operations.
Ensure timely delivery of vehicles and proper documentation.
7. Training & Development
Identify training needs for the sales team.
Conduct product knowledge sessions, soft skills, and sales pitch training.
Ensure all team members are updated on new models, schemes, and promotions.
8. Customer Satisfaction & Feedback
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.
Address escalated customer complaints or dissatisfaction promptly.
