Job Description

Overview:

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the

    Business Development, Sales & Marketing

    team to achieve annual and strategic growth objectives.
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with

    Tier-1 suppliers and OEM customers

    through effective Key Account Management.
  • Oversee

    RFQ management

    , including pricing, technical & commercial proposal preparation, and timely submissions.
  • Drive

    Program Implementation

    from RFQ to SOP, ensuring seamless cross-functional coordination for on-time delivery.
  • Formulate and execute

    annual and long-term sales and marketing strategies

    aligned with business goals.
  • Conduct

    market intelligence and competitor analysis

    to identify emerging opportunities and inform strategic decisions.
  • Identify and develop

    new business opportunities

    in the domestic automotive market.
  • Lead

    commercial negotiations, contract finalizations

    , and long-term partnership agreements.
  • Organize

    customer meetings, technical presentations, and product showcases

    to highlight companies capabilities and innovations.
  • Ensure superior

    after-sales support

    and maintain high customer satisfaction levels.
  • Present

    business performance reports, forecasts, and strategic updates

    to senior management.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering

    (Mechanical, Electrical, or Automotive preferred).
  • MBA in Marketing or Business Management

    is desirable.
  • 20+ years

    of progressive experience in

    Sales, Business Development, or Program Management

    within the automotive components industry.
  • Proven track record of working with

    Tier-1 suppliers or OEMs

    and managing the complete program lifecycle.
  • Strong technical understanding of

    DC motor applications

    in automotive systems.
  • Demonstrated expertise in

    RFQ management, pricing strategy, proposal development

    , and

    key account management

    .
  • Exceptional

    leadership, communication, and interpersonal

    skills.
  • Fluency in

    English and Hindi

    is essential; proficiency in

    Tamil

    is an added advantage.
  • Well-connected within the

    automotive ecosystem

    with the ability to build and nurture strategic partnerships.
