Job Description

As a Sales and Business Development professional in the travel industry, your primary responsibility will be to identify and approach potential customers in order to promote and sell travel packages, holiday deals, and customized itineraries. You will play a crucial role in assisting clients to select the best travel options based on their preferences, budget, and requirements. Developing and maintaining a pipeline of prospective clients through methods such as cold calling, referrals, and online inquiries will be essential for generating leads for the business. Building and nurturing strong relationships with clients will be a key aspect of your role to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction. It will also be important to stay updated on travel trends, airline regulations, hotel promotions, and destination highlights to provide clients with accurate and relevant information. Your negotiation skills will come into play when coordinating with airlines, hotels, and tour operators to secure the best prices and availability for clients. Meeting and exceeding sales targets by driving revenue growth and increasing customer bookings will be a key performance indicator in this role. You will collaborate with the marketing team to promote travel packages through various channels such as social media, email campaigns, and special promotions. To excel in this role, you should ideally have 1-3 years of sales experience, preferably in the travel industry. However, fresh graduates with a passion for travel sales are also encouraged to apply. A high school diploma or Bachelor's degree in Tourism, Business, or a related field is preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are necessary, and knowledge of additional languages would be advantageous. Strong sales skills with a persuasive and customer-focused approach are essential, along with familiarity with booking systems (Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo) and CRM tools. A passion for travel, flexibility to work weekends or evenings when needed, and a willingness to learn and grow in the industry are also important qualities for this role.
