Your key responsibilities will include promoting and selling Medtronic's products and services within an assigned geographic area and specific customer accounts with the aim to meet or exceed sales targets. You will be responsible for cultivating and strengthening long-term relationships with stakeholders such as distributors and healthcare professionals. It will be crucial for you to promote and educate stakeholders on the company's products and services, conduct market research, and implement market development plans/strategies based on insights gathered. As a Sales Professional within the career stream, your primary focus will involve direct sales responsibilities. You may also oversee the work of lower-level sales professionals or manage sales processes and accounts that involve multiple team members. Your efforts will largely revolve around establishing and nurturing customer relationships, expanding your customer base, executing sales strategies, and finalizing sales deals. In this role, you will work under close supervision as an entry-level sales professional, catering to individual or team accounts. You will be selling products and services to a group of clients while identifying new potential customers. Your impact within the organization will be aimed at achieving individual sales targets within your product area and/or account by selling lower complexity products/services, developing new accounts, and expanding existing ones. Your communication skills will be essential as you engage with external customers and vendors, potentially involving basic negotiation and presentations to facilitate sales closures. You will also be required to obtain or provide information that may require some explanation or interpretation. The job will demand a broad knowledge of sales techniques acquired through education and/or on-the-job learning, along with the application of company policies and procedures to resolve routine issues. A B.E or B.Tech in Bio Medical Engineering, Bio Technology, B. Pharma, or a Bachelor's Degree in Sciences from an accredited university is mandatory for this role.
