As a Sales Executive in the Information Technology sector based in Mumbai, you will play a crucial role in identifying, developing, and managing new business opportunities. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Identifying, developing, and managing new business opportunities in the IT sector including software solutions, IT services, cloud, and networking. - Building and maintaining strong client relationships to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business. - Achieving and exceeding sales targets through effective lead generation, pipeline management, and closing strategies. - Conducting client presentations, product demos, and solution-based discussions tailored to customer needs. - Collaborating with pre-sales, technical, and delivery teams to design and propose customized IT solutions. - Negotiating contracts, pricing, and terms to maximize profitability while ensuring client satisfaction. - Tracking market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to identify business opportunities. - Maintaining accurate sales forecasts, reports, and CRM entries. Your role will require the following skills and competencies: - Proven track record of achieving and exceeding IT sales targets for the last 6 years. - Strong knowledge of IT products and services such as software, SaaS, ERP, cloud computing, and IT infrastructure. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. - Ability to manage complex sales cycles and engage with C-level executives. - Self-motivated, target-driven, and customer-oriented mindset. - Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office Suite, and digital sales platforms. To qualify for this position, you should have: - A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, IT, or related field (MBA preferred). - 6 years of proven experience in IT sales/business development. - Graduate qualification.
