Role Overview

garden planters and outdoor decor solutions


Key Responsibilities


Channel Development
  • Identify, onboard, and nurture 

    dealers/distributors

     through nurseries, garden centers, and lifestyle/home décor stores.
  • Conduct product demos, display setup, and ensure retail visibility.

  • Project & Institutional Sales
    • Develop business with 

      architects, interior designers, landscape consultants

      , and ensure our planters are specified in projects.
    • Pitch and supply to 

      real estate developers, residential societies, corporate campuses, hotels/resorts, and airports

      .
    • Establish partnerships with 

      government parks, urban greening projects, and municipal bodies

      .


    Marketing & Visibility
    • Participate in 

      gardening expos, architecture/interior exhibitions, and landscaping events

      .
    • Work with marketing team to drive 

      digital promotions, influencer tie-ups, and catalogue placements

       in premium stores.


    Sales Management
    • Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets for both retail and institutional channels.
    • Ensure timely collections and compliance with credit policies.
    • Track competitor activity, pricing, and market trends.


    Cross-Selling Opportunities
    • Leverage Sheetal’s presence in 

      water tanks, solid waste bins, and road safety products

       to bundle planters for societies, builders, and municipal projects.
    • Explore tie-ups with 

      corporate gifting and premium lifestyle retailers

       for bulk sales.


    Qualifications & Experience
    • Graduate in 

      Business/Commerce/Marketing

       (MBA preferred).
    • 3–5 years of experience

       in selling 

      garden products, planters, horticulture supplies, building materials, or lifestyle décor items

      .
    • Strong network among 

      nurseries, architects, builders, and landscape consultants

      .
    • Proven track record in 

      dealer network development

       and 

      project sales

      .


    Skills & Competencies
    • Strong 

      relationship-building skills

       with architects, designers, and nurseries.
    • Excellent 

      sales and negotiation

       skills with proven revenue achievement.
    • Good understanding of 

      consumer preferences in outdoor/garden products

      .
    • Ability to 

      travel frequently

       within the assigned region.
    • Self-driven, target-oriented, with a flair for 

      lifestyle product positioning

      .
