Sales executive

Key Responsibilities

1. Customer Assistance

• Greet customers warmly upon arrival and assist with product selection.
• Identify customer needs and provide tailored product recommendations.
• Respond to inquiries regarding products, prices, and availability.
• Handle customer complaints professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction.

2. Product Presentation

• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment.
• Ensure shelves and displays are stocked and properly arranged.
• Apply visual merchandising techniques to enhance product visibility.
• Update signage and pricing information regularly.

3. Sales Generation

• Engage customers actively to promote products and offers.
• Use upselling and cross-selling techniques to increase purchase value.
• Achieve or exceed individual and team sales targets.
• Track customer preferences and buying trends to inform sales strategies.

4. Cash Handling & Transactions

• Process sales transactions accurately via POS system.
• Manage cash, credit, and electronic payments with precision.
• Issue receipts, refunds, and exchanges in line with company policy.

5. Product Knowledge

• Build in-depth knowledge of store products and services.
• Stay updated on features, benefits, and usage of merchandise.
• Participate in training and product knowledge sessions.

6. Team Collaboration

• Work closely with colleagues to achieve collective goals.
• Support the onboarding and training of new sales staff when needed.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a retail or customer-facing role.
• High school diploma or equivalent (additional education in sales is a plus).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer-focused approach with ability to remain composed under pressure.
• Basic math skills and knowledge of POS systems.
• Flexible to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts.
• Physically able to stand, walk, and lift objects as required.
• Proactive and results-driven mindset with commitment to achieving targets.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹25,000.00 per month
