Job Description

Star Digital is hiring a Business Development Executive to drive end-to-end client acquisition for SEO, PPC, social media, content, and web solutions—owning prospecting, meetings, proposals, and closures while collaborating with delivery after conversion.

Key responsibilities

  • Generate qualified leads through research, cold outreach, LinkedIn, partnerships, and referrals; maintain a disciplined pipeline in CRM.
  • Conduct discovery calls and meetings, understand prospect needs, propose tailored digital marketing solutions, and present proposals/SoWs.
  • Negotiate commercials, handle objections, and close deals to meet monthly and quarterly targets; manage the sales cycle end-to-end.
  • Coordinate smooth handover to Star Digital’s delivery team post-conversion and share clear brief, scope, and expectations.
  • Track activities, forecasts, and KPIs; submit weekly progress on pipeline, meetings, proposals, and closures.

Policies

  • Salary is target-based with commissions/incentives tied to closures and collected revenue.
  • If monthly targets are not achieved, payouts will be impacted as per the target-based structure (clarified during offer stage).
  • All client relationships are owned and maintained by Star Digital; data, contracts, and service delivery remain with the company.
  • All prospecting, outreach, meeting scheduling, and deal appointments must be handled by the BDE before connection and till conversion; after conversion, Star Digital handles all delivery meetings, revisions, and ongoing change requests.

Required profile

  • 1–3 years of B2B sales/business development; digital marketing/agency sales experience is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of Digital Marketing, SEO, PPC/Ads, social media, content marketing, and web projects to conduct credible consultative conversations.
  • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and closing skills; self-driven and target-oriented.
  • Proficiency with CRM and outreach tools; disciplined pipeline hygiene and follow-ups.
  • Bachelor’s in Business/Marketing or equivalent demonstrated sales success.

Compensation and growth

  • Target-based compensation with attractive commissions and accelerators on overachievement.
  • Long-term growth path to Senior BDE/BDM based on consistent performance.
  • Reimbursements for approved client meetings and tools as per policy.

Job Types: Part-time, Freelance

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
