Sales Engineer

This ideal candidate will be involved in the sales of analytical instruments such as handheld XRF, LIBS, OES spectrometers, etc.

Responsibilities

• Generate high-quality sales leads and follow up after initial meeting.
• Identifies current and future customer requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual customers and others in a position to understand requirements.
• Meet with clients at appointments for sales presentations and plan detailed presentations to show product info, pricing, and benefits.
• Acquire new customers by winning them over from competitors and discovering new opportunities.
• Identify areas to improve customer satisfaction and repeat business, then communicate those issues and possible solutions to upper management.
• Set and achieve sales goals and quotas on a monthly and quarterly basis.
• Create new sales & marketing strategies.
• Follow up on sold products to ensure the customer is happy.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate/Diploma in relevant discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in the similar field of work preferred.
• Ability to discuss highly technical concepts with prospective leads.
• Willingness to travel.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
