Role Overview:

The member joining this position will work at an experienced (band/level) and be part of

a team of (Branch Name). The Technical Field Sales Engineer is responsible for driving

business growth and ensuring customer satisfaction by managing designated grid

customers. This role focuses on achieving sales targets, resolving service and

commercial issues, building strong customer relationships, and acting as a key liaison

between customers and the companys support divisions.

Role Overview

As a Technical Field Sales Engineer at Forbes Marshall, you will play a pivotal role in

driving energy-saving and water optimization solutions across process industries like

Food & Beverages, Tyre & Rubber, Pharmaceuticals, Starch, Textiles, and more.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining engineering expertise with

business acumen to solve customer challenges and drive measurable value.

Purpose of the Role

To manage and grow business from designated grid customers by offering engineered

solutions that optimize steam and thermal systems. This includes achieving sales

targets, enhancing customer satisfaction, and collaborating closely with cross-functional

teams for service, order fulfilment, and project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the relationship with grid customers and act as their single point of contact.

• Identify opportunities and provide energy and water-saving solutions using our

product portfolio.

• Achieve assigned sales targets and report order booking, pipeline, and

projections monthly.

• Conduct IDDBs and SSDBs (In-Depth and walk through Diagnostic Audits) to

uncover customer improvement areas.

• Collaborate with HO teams for offer submission, order processing, and resolution

of technical/commercial/service issues.

• Perform extensive customer visits per quarter to strengthen relationships and

discover needs.

• Organize presentations and seminars for grid customers to showcase

innovations and value-added offerings.

• Maintain accurate call plans and customer interaction records in CRM systems.

• Share product and application updates via emailers and on-site discussions.

Desired Profile

• Education: B.E / B-Tech in Mechanical / Chemical with relevant experience.

• Experience: 3–6 years in field sales, technical sales, or product application

engineering.

• Preferred Skills:

  • Strong understanding of industrial boilers, steam systems, traps, and

energy monitoring.

  • Good communication and relationship management skills.
  • Exposure to solution selling in process industries.
