Job Summary

The Sales Engineer will be responsible for developing business opportunities, managing client relationships, and promoting Dec Industries’ formwork and scaffolding products. The ideal candidate will have a background in Civil or Mechanical Engineering with strong technical and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in the construction, infrastructure, and industrial sectors.
• Promote and sell formwork and scaffolding systems to contractors, builders, and consultants.
• Understand client requirements and propose suitable formwork solutions.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining products and services.
• Coordinate with the design and operations teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets as assigned.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and key decision-makers.
• Conduct market research to understand competitors, pricing, and customer needs.
• Follow up on quotations, tenders, and payment collections.
• Submit regular sales reports and pipeline updates to management.

Requirements

• Education: B.Tech / B.E. in Civil or Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).
• Experience: 0–3 years of experience in sales / business development, preferably in formwork, scaffolding, construction materials, or related products.
• Strong technical understanding of civil/construction components.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.
• Willingness to travel across Tamil Nadu and nearby regions for client meetings.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
