Job Description As a Senior Sales Executive / Director at our company, your role is crucial in leading sales initiatives specifically targeting food factories. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth for the food testing business. This includes identifying target markets, creating detailed marketing strategies, and defining clear objectives to expand the customer base and increase market share. Your main responsibilities will include: - Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities through existing clientele, cold calling, networking, and market research. - Building and maintaining strong relationships with key decision-makers such as quality assurance managers, procurement heads, and health and safety officials in the food industry. - Preparing and delivering tailored presentations and proposals to prospective clients. - Negotiating contracts and closing deals to meet or exceed sales targets. - Collaborating with internal teams such as marketing, customer service, and operations to ensure client satisfaction. - Providing leadership, guidance, and continuous professional development opportunities to the sales team. This involves coaching, mentoring, conducting performance reviews, and maximizing team effectiveness. - Evaluating and deciding on new business opportunities and sales tactics by assessing market trends and competitor activities. - Providing regular updates and reports on sales activities and progress to senior management. Qualifications To excel in this role, you must have: - Bachelor or Master's degree in business, Marketing, Science, or a related field from an accredited University. - Minimum of 18 years of sales experience in ISO 17025 accredited Lab/s with a strong focus on hunting and business development for Food Testing Services in the food industry. - Proven track record of achieving sales targets and closing deals. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Hands-on experience. - Proficient in Computer Skills, CRM software, and Microsoft Office Suite. - Strong existing network of contacts within the food industry.
