Job Description

The Sales Coordinator is responsible for generating and converting B2B sales leads through outbound calling. The role involves promoting chemical raw materials used in surface coating industry, while maintaining strong client relationships and achieving sales targets

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales & Lead Generation

  • Conduct outbound calls to new and existing customers to promote chemical products.
  • Generate qualified leads and follow up regularly.
  • Share product brochures, guidance and quotations.
  1. Client Interaction

  • Understand customer needs and suggest suitable raw materials.
  • Answer client queries regarding products, pricing, and delivery.
  • Maintain rapport with existing clients for repeat business.
  1. Order Processing:

  • Send Quotation and Product Information.
  • Process sales orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all details are verified before submission.
  1. Coordination & Support

  • Coordinate with the sales and technical teams for customer queries.
  • Schedule follow-ups for samples, quotations, or feedback.
  • Track and update call reports in CRM software.
  • Coordinate with production and logistics teams to track order status and manage delivery timelines.
  1. Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain records of calls, customer responses, and orders.
  • Submit daily/weekly reports to Management.
  • Maintain and update customer records, sales databases, and CRM systems to ensure accurate tracking of interactions and sales activities.
  1. Market Research:

  • Conduct research on industry trends and competitor activities to support sales strategies and identify potential leads.

  1. Compliance:

  • Ensure all sales processes comply with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of all transactions and communications for compliance purposes.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelors/Master's degree in Chemistry/Paint Technology is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in sales.
  • Candidates from Chemical industry is preferred, specifically polymer paint and coating industry.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and sales applications.
  • Exceptional time-management and organizational skills.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledgeable in current market regulation and trends.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Timings:

    9:30 AM to 6:30 PM
  • Days:

    Monday- Saturday (Alternate Saturdays Off)
  • Location:

    Mulund (West)
