As a Sales Consultant at our company in Chennai, you will play a crucial role as the primary contact for aspiring authors. Your responsibilities will include understanding their needs, guiding them through the publishing process, and assisting them in selecting the most suitable plan for publishing their book. Key Responsibilities: - Reach out to and connect with aspiring authors through leads and outreach. - Conduct in-person and virtual meetings to explain Inkscribes publishing services. - Understand client goals and recommend appropriate publishing plans. - Maintain consistent follow-ups with potential authors to ensure conversions. - Manage and update lead pipelines using CRM tools. - Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to facilitate smooth client onboarding. - Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets. Qualifications Required: - Minimum 2 years of experience in sales, business development, or client servicing (experience in publishing, marketing, or creative industries is a plus). - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Passion for books, writing, and the creative industry. - Ability to work independently and take initiative. - Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
