Role Overview We’re looking for an enthusiastic and driven Sales Consultant to join our team in Chennai. You’ll be the first point of contact for aspiring authors — understanding their needs, guiding them through our publishing process, and helping them choose the right plan to publish their book. This is a great opportunity for someone who loves communication, storytelling, and building strong client relationships. Key Responsibilities Reach out to and connect with aspiring authors through leads and outreach. Conduct in-person and virtual meetings to explain Inkscribe’s publishing services. Understand client goals and suggest suitable publishing plans. Maintain consistent follow-ups with potential authors to ensure conversions. Manage and update lead pipelines using CRM tools. Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to ensure smooth client onboarding. Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets. Requirements 0–2 years of experience in sales, business development, or client servicing (experience in publishing, marketing, or creative industries is a plus). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Passion for books, writing, and the creative industry. Ability to work independently and take initiative. Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
