Job Description

As a Manager Sales & Business Development specializing in Cosmetic & Nutraceuticals, your role will involve a diverse set of responsibilities to drive growth and success in the business. Here is an overview of what you can expect: - **Sales & Business Development Skills:** - Generate leads and effectively convert them into business opportunities. - Manage key accounts to ensure long-term relationships and repeat business. - Utilize strong negotiation skills and closing techniques to secure deals. - Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities. - Develop proposals and submit tenders to potential clients. - Proficiency in using CRM software to manage customer relationships effectively. - **Technical Product Knowledge:** - Possess a detailed understanding of essential oils, specialty chemicals, and regulatory frameworks such as FDA and FSSAI. - Familiarity with product formulation, ingredient functionality, labeling standards, and safety assessments. - **Marketing & Strategic Insight:** - Develop go-to-market strategies to launch products successfully. - Collaborate with R&D teams to commercialize new products. - Participate in trade shows, expos, and client presentations. - Conduct competitor benchmarking and develop pricing strategies. - **Communication & Interpersonal Skills:** - Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Deliver strong presentations and possess persuasion skills. - **Analytical & Organizational Skills:** - Make data-driven decisions to guide sales strategies. - Engage in sales forecasting, budgeting, and effective time management. - **Regulatory & Quality Understanding:** - Stay aware of GMP and ISO standards. - Handle documentation for QA/QC and technical dossiers effectively. Your educational background should ideally include a Bachelor or Masters degree in Pharmacy or Chemistry. Understanding of formulations, chemistry, formulation science, and pharmacognosy would be advantageous for this role. For candidates to be considered, industry experience of at least 3-5 years in B2B sales or business development is required. Prior experience in areas like Anti-Oxidants, Essential oils, Specialty chemicals, Cosmetic ingredients, or Food-grade additives will be an added advantage. This is a full-time on-site job located at the Head Office in Nigdi, Pune, Maharashtra. You should be ready to travel pan-India as part of your responsibilities.
