Sales & Brand Strategy - Senior Leadership

As a Sales & Brand Strategy Senior Leadership at Nolwa Studio, you will play a pivotal role in driving the presence and growth of our design studio and gallery in national and international platforms. Collaborating closely with the founder, you will lead the efforts in expanding our reach, building intentional relationships, and ensuring the clear and consistent representation of our brand across various touchpoints. Your responsibilities will encompass a hybrid role that combines sales leadership with brand custodianship. You will be actively engaged in outbound sales and business development strategies, engaging with potential clients, institutions, and buyers through personalized outreach. Curating high-alignment industry professionals such as architects and interior designers, and initiating conversations with galleries and museums for placements and acquisitions will be key aspects of your role. Moreover, you will explore distribution platforms and collaborations, manage inbound sales inquiries, and represent Nolwa Studio in online and offline platforms. In terms of brand strategy and custodianship, you will act as the bridge between the brand internally and external consultants to ensure the translation of brand strategy across all touchpoints. Collaborating with the founder and creative team, you will strategize on fairs, awards, exhibitions, and luxury marketing initiatives that align with our brand narrative. Additionally, you will oversee social media, storytelling, PR, and communications alignment to elevate our presence in the design and art worlds. The ideal candidate for this role would have 5-7 years of experience in sales, partnerships, business development, or brand strategy, preferably in design, art, fashion, or luxury sectors. A background in design/art gallery would be advantageous, along with a deep appreciation for collectible design, craftsmanship, and cultural intersections. Strong global awareness, existing networks in the design/art world, and the ability to build and nurture high-value relationships are essential qualities.
